Did you know Gramps has a hidden theater in the back?! Miami is full of hidden gems, and you can always count on Thursday to introduce you to them… (places and people 😉) We’re so sad that Gramps is closing down their Wynwood location in Jan 2026, so we’re throwing an epic farewell party in the most Thursday way we know how… with great jokes, great vibes, great drinks, a disco ball, and of course the chaos and surprises that we’ve always been known for. Singles Only Improv! A new concept at Thursday Miami, cohosted in partnership with KC Korge of Tag In Company, where you can learn new skills, go out of your comfort zone, and maybe meet someone who makes you want to go off script. 

Start doing your breathing excises because here’s our run of show:

6:45pm: Check-In begins at Shirley Theater (look for the Thursday sign right outside a hidden door by the pizza window)

7pm-9pm: Private Instructor-Lead Singles Only Improv Class in Shirley Theater (Bring a sweater – the AC is bussin in here!) 

✨ Get comfortable (fast)

✨ Break the ice in ways that feel natural and kind of electric

✨ Create the kind of moments you’ll still think about on the drive home

✨ Leave with your confidence up, your energy higher, and your social cup very full

9pm-close: Doors open again for a Singles Night Mixer with extended happy hour deals and a never-been-seen themed menu exclusively for singles.  Ticketed guests have a chance at winning future Thursday event tickets and Gramps giftcards!!

🪩 Sip & Social – Just here to hang at the bar? Grab a “Sip & Social” ticket without stepping into the spotlight. Feeling brave? Want to join the improv class? Upgrade your ticket in the Thursday Events app (if there’s space) — or ask the host to claim a last-minute no-show spot.
