Welcome to Connections for Her powered by Thursday Dating – a new community space to meet other girlies in Ottawa IRL.

Scientifically speaking women need a girls night every 22 days to feel their best! So come feel alive with your girlies while making new connections with your new future besties.

Because making friends in your 20’s and 30’s shouldn’t be hard and sometimes, we just want to do just girlie things like sip on cute cocktails and swap clothing.

Back to Brooklyn is inspired by New York Cities speakeasy vibes, elegant cocktails that can be enjoyed under their romantic tree.

Q: Do I need to bring clothing to attend?

A: No feel free to come shop around

Q: Is it a direct swap? (1 item for 1 item?)

A: It is not a direct swap. Think along the lines of you get to shop around

Q: What should I bring?

A: If you have clothes to add to the swap, a reusable bag to shop with, and your beautiful self 🙂

Q: What happens to the clothing that is no chosen at the end?

A: It will be donated to a shelter

Q: What if I have clothing but cannot make it?

A: Contact us and we will arrange for pickup

Q: What is this event?

A: A chance to pass along clothing and refresh your wardrobe while sharing a drink with old or new friends

RULES

1. If you bring clothing please make sure it is in good condition (do not bring anything you would not offer to your best friend)

2. Doors open at 5pm and the swapping and shopping starts at 12:30pm while waiting mix and mingle over a cocktail or mocktail and play ice breakers to get to know everyone

3. Remain respectful throughout the swapping process
