Here’s the move. early in the night, you take a quick matchmaking quiz on your phone. matchbox runs the matching quietly in the background while you grab a drink and feel out the room. later, clues drop and your match gets revealed somewhere in the room. no awkward icebreakers. no forced “hi what do you do.” just chemistry, the old fashioned way but with an algorithm so kinda new fashioned too.

what if matches are uneven? we aim for balance, but if pairings don’t line up perfectly, some matches might be platonic. anyone without a romantic match gets a free ticket to a future matchbox event (good for 60 days). we got you either way. 💕
