We’re throwing a massive Public Holiday Eve party at Abercrombie, and it’s about to be unreal.

Forget swiping—let AI do the work. Answer a few questions, get matched with a huge countdown a few hours in, and meet someone worth your time.

Matching will be powered by Matchbox. It’s a software that uses relationship science to find you your most compatible match at the party. It’s also the same technology behind the Marriage Pact, a tradition at 100+ universities that’s matched more than half a million people to date.

How it works:

• Upon arrival, you’ll take a matching questionnaire built by Matchbox’s team of relationship scientists and curated by your host.
• The Matchbox algorithm will identify your optimal match at the party, based on relationship science, AI, and Nobel Prize-winning economics.
• After mingling with the whole group, matches are revealed!

Who it’s for:

• The matching process is highly intentional—come with an open mind!
• If your match isn’t love at first sight, that’s okay! The algorithm is designed for long-term compatibility, so at baseline, you’ll be values-aligned.
• At the end of the day, this will be a great group of single people. Enjoy meeting everyone, and remember to be kind.

Event Structure:

• ⏳ 6.30 PM — The event begins on time, bar opens, take YOUR quiz~
• 🚪 7.30 PM — Doors close, The Algorithm begins computing matches
• 🕵️ 8 PM — A series of clues to get you closer to your match
• 💘 8.30 PM — Matches revealed

Flying Solo? No problem! 💁‍♀️💁‍♂️ About 40% of attendees come alone, so even if you’re the only single in your friend group, don’t hesitate to join us solo. You’ll find yourself in great company.
