Think twinkly lights, good vibes, and a room full of singles looking to make new connections… PLUS a sprinkle of science to help you meet someone who’s actually compatible with you.

Never used Matchbox before?
It’s a super fun matching system powered by relationship science that finds your most suitable match in the room.
With over half a million matches made across 40 countries, it’s basically the Santa’s Workshop of compatibility — and yes, the algorithm takes age ranges into account to ensure your match makes sense IRL. 🫶🏼🎅🏼

🎁 HOW MATCHBOX WORKS

• On arrival, you’ll complete a short questionnaire designed by Matchbox’s relationship scientists and curated by your host.
• The Matchbox algorithm gets to work using relationship science, AI, and Nobel Prize–winning economics (no big deal) to identify your best match — including factoring in your age range.
• Throughout the night, you’ll mingle, mix, and receive festive clues that guide you into smaller groups.
• At 9pm, matches are revealed in true Christmas-morning style!
• Must arrive BEFORE 7:45PM to join AI Matching!

🎄 HOW THE NIGHT WILL UNFOLD

• 7:00pm – Kick off & casual mingling
• 7:45pm – Doors close & the algorithm starts computing
• 8:00–8:45pm – A series of clues are released to break you into smaller groups with like-minded people
• 9:00pm – Match reveal time!

• The matching process is super intentional — come with curiosity and an open mind.
• Not feeling instant fireworks? Totally fine! The algorithm focuses on long-term compatibility and shared values.
• No matter what, you’ll be surrounded by a great group of singles — enjoy the chats, lean into the fun, and be kind.
• We aim to keep a 50/50 gender balance, but no-shows can happen. If an uneven split occurs, some matches may be platonic. If so, you’ll receive a free ticket to a future event of your choice.
