Thursday | Find Your Mystery Match (LGBTQIA+ AI Matchbox Event) – Ferment Wembley

We are back with another AI Match making event through Matchbox AI, this time for our LGBTQIA+ Singles!! These events have been hugely popular and sold out in the past so be sure to snap up your tickets – this will sell out!  

Join us for an evening of drinks, conversation and meeting your most compatible match at Ferment bar (located inside the Wembley Hotel). Ferment is Wembley’s exciting DIY pour bar with 32 rotating taps to choose from, anyone can find their flavour. Featuring independent craft beers, curated wines and ready-to-pour cocktails, you can stick to your usual or venture into a tasting journey.

Matching will be powered by Matchbox. It’s a software that uses relationship science to find you your most compatible match at the party. The algorithm has matched more than half a million people to date, across 40 countries. It optimizes for long-term compatibility, based on values – but it’s up to you to see if you’ll click.

How it works:

• Upon arrival, you’ll take a matching questionnaire built by Matchbox’s team of relationship scientists and curated by your host.
• The Matchbox algorithm will identify your optimal match at the party, based on gender & sexual orientation, relationship science, AI, and Nobel Prize-winning economic
• After mingling with the whole group, matches are revealed!

• Entry to Thursday’s exclusive singles event and the matching experience.

What to expect:

• The matching process is highly intentional – come with an open mind.
• If your match isn’t love at first sight, that’s okay! The algorithm is designed for long-term compatibility, so at baseline, you’ll be values-aligned.
• At the end of the day, this will be a great group of single people, ready to mingle. Enjoy meeting everyone and remember to be kind.

Event Structure:

• This event is highly intentional and the matching will proceed on schedule. Please be on time.
• 6:30pm—the event begins on time, bar opens, explore all that Ferment has to offer with drinks and food options for purchase & complete your questionnaire 
• 8:00pm—doors close, The Algorithm begins computing matches
• 8:30pm—a series of clues
• 9:00pm—matches revealed
• 10:30pm—event concludes

Q: What age range is the event for? All ages

Q: What if I don’t get a match? A: We always aim to have even numbers but if there is an uneven split, some matches will be paired platonically. These people receive a free ticket to a future event of their choice, valid for 60 days after this event.

✨ $40 door sales after 7:30pm – dependent on numbers on the night, will be at the discretion of the host. We encourage attendees to buy their ticket prior to the event to avoid disappointment.

You do not need to match with someone on the app to come to an event.

Many attendees (40%) come by themselves, so even if you’re the only single in your friendship group, don’t hesitate to join us solo. You’ll find yourself in great company.
