Get ready for an elevated matchmaking experience at our favourite riverside venues, Riverland ✨ The perfect setting for great conversations, easy mingling, and a little spark of romance, with live music, city lights, and stunning views of the Story Bridge.

This time around, our matchmaking experience is going deeper than ever. Each guest will receive up to three highly compatible matches, carefully selected to maximise genuine chemistry and connection. That extra magic happening behind the scenes is why tickets are priced slightly higher than previous Matchbox events.

🧠 Matchbox AI Matching

Matchbox is where matchmaking meets relationship science. Powered by a Nobel Prize-backed algorithm, Matchbox has helped create over 500,000 matches across 40+ countries.

How it works:

• Upon arrival, you’ll complete a short matching questionnaire designed by Matchbox’s team of relationship scientists and curated by your host.
• The Matchbox algorithm analyses your responses to identify up to three highly compatible matches using relationship science, AI, and Nobel Prize-winning economic theory.
• After plenty of time mingling within your values-aligned groups, your matches will be revealed throughout the evening.

⏰ Important: You must arrive before 7:45PM to participate in AI matching.

🗓 Event Schedule

🍸 7:00PM – Doors open, mingling begins

✨ 7:45–8:00PM – Matching questionnaires close and the algorithm gets to work

💬 8:00–8:45PM – A series of clues are released, gradually narrowing your group and helping you connect with compatible people

💘 9:00-9:30PM – Your three matches are revealed, one at a time

💫 9:30PM onwards – Continue chatting with your matches, or revisit other connections you made throughout the night

👀 Good to Know

• This event is for singles aged 25–40 (1–2 years either side is absolutely fine)
• We aim for a 50/50 gender balance, although exact attendance ratios can’t be guaranteed
• In some cases, one of your matches may be a platonic compatibility match. If this happens, we’ll provide you with a complimentary ticket to a future Matchbox event
• Come with an open mind — compatibility goes deeper than looks

AI helps with the matching, but chemistry is up to you 😉
