If you’re tired of surface-level chats and the usual “what do you do?” — this is your chance to experience a different kind of dating night. One where the conversations are a little more interesting, a little more real… and still just as fun.

We’re partnering with 20 Talk, a charity on a mission to help young people feel more equipped to navigate life, relationships and everything in between.

Founded in 2018 after the loss of two close friends, 20 Talk was created to make conversations around mental health more relatable, accessible and preventative — giving young adults the tools to better understand themselves and their connections with others.

🍸 Arrive from 7:00pm to grab a drink and settle in (this event will be held in The Next Level, which is upstairs at Oche)

🎬 At 7:30pm, we’ll kick things off with a short 30-minute documentary, “It’s Complicated” — a raw and relatable look at modern dating, love and relationships. Featuring real stories, it explores the highs, the lows and everything in between — designed to spark better, more meaningful conversations throughout the night.

💬 After the screening, we’ll ease into some light, guided conversation rounds. When you arrive, you’ll receive a coloured sticker and be seated with a small group to get things started. Each table will have conversation cards (from 20 Talk’s Open for Reflection game) to help you skip the small talk and get into the good stuff — no pressure, no awkwardness.

From there, the night opens up into a relaxed, free-flowing mixer — continue chatting, meet new people or revisit a conversation that caught your interest.
