What do ancient Greek vases, medieval divorce trials, and Victorian anti-masturbation devices all have in common? They’re part of the real history of sexuality, and it’s wilder than you think.

Join Thursday Dating and Talks on Tuesday for a night of curiosity, cocktails and connection. Featuring Dr Paige Donaghy (The University of Melbourne), a historian who’s spent her career researching how people in the past thought about sex, reproduction, and desire.

🗣 What to expect:
– A 45min lecture on the surprising history of sexuality
– Q&A with Dr Donaghy
– Mingling and drinks with a group of curious, single legends
– Access to the Spice Market Secret Room (yes, it’s sexy and all about history)

If you’ve ever wondered how people used to do it, or just want a reason to flirt and learn something new, this one’s for you.

Arrive early at 6.30 order a snack dinner, sit back and learn a thing or two. 

Spots are limited. Bring a question, a drink in hand, and your most open-minded self.

**This event will have a hard start time of 7pm, if you have not arrived on time you will miss the lecture.**
