MATCHBOX MIXER, a fun and flirty night for singles aged 20–40! ✨

This is no ordinary Thursday Singles Night. This event we’ve got a little help to find your most compatible match of the night! 💘

Introducing Matchbox – software that uses relationship science! The algorithm has matched more than half a million people across 40 countries and optimises for long-term compatibility, based on values – but it’s up to you to see if you’ll click. 😉

How it works:

• Upon arrival, you’ll take a matching questionnaire built by Matchbox’s team of relationship scientists and curated by your hosts.
• The Matchbox algorithm will identify your optimal match at the party, based on relationship science, AI, and Nobel-Pize winning economics.
• You will receive a series of clues that will break you into smaller groups and eventually a countdown will begin and the algorithm will identify your optimal match at the event.
• Must arrive BEFORE 7:30PM to join Matchbox Matching.

Event Schedule:

• 6:30pm – the event begins on time, bar opens
• 7:30pm – doors close, the algorithm begins computing matches
• 8:00pm – a series of clues are released
• 8:30pm – matches revealed

  Who’s it for:

• The matching process is highly intentional – come with an open mind!
• If your match isn’t love at first sight, that’s okay! The algorithm is designed for long-term compatibility, so at baseline, you’ll be values-aligned.
• At the end of the day, this will be a great group of single people. Enjoy meeting everyone, and remember to be kind.

FYI – We aim to maintain a 50/50 male to female ratio but cannot guarantee that all attendees will show up, as life happens. If there is an uneven split, some matches will be paired platonically. If this happens you will receive a free ticket to a future event of your choice.
