Join us at The Collective in South Lake Union on Thursday, January 22 for a thoughtfully curated singles night for people 40 and over who want to meet new people in a relaxed, intentional setting.

Expect good conversation, easy mingling, and an atmosphere that makes meeting others feel natural. Early in the night, you’ll answer a quick questionnaire on your phone. Matchbox works quietly in the background, looking for shared values and compatibility, then later helps surface a potential match in the room. No awkward pairings. No forced moments.

Designed with a 40+ crowd in mind, and welcoming guests in their mid to late thirties if it feels right.

How It Works

– Arrive and complete a short matchmaking questionnaire created by Matchbox and curated by your host

– Spend the evening meeting people and enjoying the space before any matches are revealed

– Later in the night, you will receive clues followed by your match reveal

Who It’s For

This event is for singles primarily 40 and over who are curious, social, and interested in real connection. Guests in their mid to late thirties are welcome if the fit feels right.

This is not speed dating and it is not a loud mixer. It is designed for people who enjoy good conversation, good energy, and meeting people in a thoughtful way.

This event runs on a set schedule. Please arrive on time.

7:00 PM Doors open and check in begins

8:00 PM Doors close and matching begins

Later in the evening Clues are released

Match reveal Matches are shared

What if matches are uneven
We aim for balanced attendance, but if pairings are uneven, some matches may be platonic. Anyone without a romantic match will receive a free ticket to a future Matchbox event valid for 60 days.
