Thursday | Mixer & Matchmaking @ Punch Bowl Social | San Diego

Just a bar, everyone single. Because the world in 2025 is all about meeting IRL, not on dating apps!

This Thursday we are taking over the entire 2nd floor and filling it with 100+ San Diego Singles. We will be doing things a little different this time around by offering digital matchmaking in addition to our standard mixer! Matching will be powered by Matchbox- a software that uses relationship science to find you your most compatible match at the event.

✨ Ticket Info:

• Early Bird (must arrive at 7pm): $20
• General Admission (must arrive before 8pm): $24
• On-the-door (available at 8pm and only accessible with host’s approval): $28

Upon arrival head up to event entrance where your San Diego host will be there to greet you, scan your ticket and get you checked in! You will then be directed to complete the matchmaking questionnaire built by Matchbox’s team of relationship scientists. Once completed, you can head inside and get to yappin’! Matches will be revealed later into the event!

Event Structure: This event is highly intentional and the matching will proceed on schedule. Please be on time!

• 7:00pm—the event begins — Early Bird ticket holders to arrive!
• 8:00pm— doors close & algorithm begins computing matches — both Early Bird and GA ticket holders must arrive!
• 8:15pm— a series of clues revealed
• 8:45pm—matches revealed
• 10:00pm—event concludes!

Keep in Mind:

• The matching process is highly intentional—come with an open mind!
• If your match isn’t love at first sight, that’s okay! The algorithm is designed for long-term compatibility, so at baseline, you’ll be values-aligned.
• At the end of the day, this will be a great group of single people. Enjoy meeting everyone, and remember to be kind.

What if I don’t get a match? We aim to maintain a 50/50 male to female ratio but cannot guarantee that all attendees will show up, as life happens. If there is an uneven split, some matches will be paired platonically. These people receive a comp’d ticket to a future event, valid for 60 days after this event.
