Thursday | Mystery Pairing @ Beaumont’s (Under 40s) | San Diego

Just a bar, everyone single. Because the world in 2025 is all about meeting IRL, not on dating apps!

This Thursday we are back at Beaumont’s, taking over the entire venue and filling it with San Diego singles. This time we will be doing things a little different by offering mystery pairing/matchmaking (in addition to our standard mixer)! Matching will be powered by Matchbox- a software that uses relationship science to find you your most compatible match at the event.

✨ Ticket Info:

• Early Bird (must arrive at 8pm): $20
• General Admission (must arrive by 9:15pm): $25
• On-the-door (available at 9pm and can only be purchased with host’s approval): $30

Please note: No refunds for no shows. Ticket is only good for event and date listed on ticket.

Upon arrival head up to event entrance where your San Diego host will be there to greet you, scan your ticket and get you checked in! You will then be directed to complete the matchmaking questionnaire built by Matchbox’s team of relationship scientists. Once completed, you can head inside and get to yappin’! Matches will be revealed later into the event via text! Please refer to the event structure below

Reminder: This event is highly intentional and the matching will proceed on schedule. Please be on time!

• 8:00pm—the event begins — Early Bird ticket holders to arrive!
• 9:15pm— “doors close” & algorithm begins computing matches — all ticket holders must arrive and complete questionnaire in order to participate!
• 9:25pm— 1st round of clues are revealed via text (find your group!)
• 9:35pm— 2nd round of clues are revealed (via text)
• 9:45pm—matches revealed via text (finally!)
• 11:00pm—event concludes!

Keep in Mind:

• The matching process is highly intentional—come with an open mind!
• If your match isn’t love at first sight, that’s okay! The algorithm is designed for long-term compatibility, so at baseline, you’ll be values-aligned.
• At the end of the day, this will be a great group of single people. Enjoy meeting everyone, and remember to be kind.

What if I don’t get a match? We aim to maintain a 50/50 male to female ratio but cannot guarantee that all attendees will show up, as life happens. If there is an uneven split, some matches will be paired platonically. In the event of no match, people receive a comp’d ticket to a future event, valid for 60 days after this event.
