At Thursday, we’ve been rewriting the rules of dating since day one. This January, we’re celebrating one year of helping singles connect in Vancouver, and we’re doing it in true Thursday style!

Matching will be powered by Matchbox. It’s a software that uses relationship science to find you your most compatible match at the party. The algorithm has matched more than half a million people to date, across 40 countries. It optimizes for long-term compatibility, based on values—but it’s up to you to see if you’ll click.

Event Structure:

• This event is highly intentional and the matching will proceed on schedule. Please be on time to avoid missing out.
• 7:30pm – the event begins on time, grab a drink, fill in the survey and start mingling
• 8:30pm – The Algorithm begins computing matches
• 8:45pm – a series of clues will appear on your phone
• 9:00pm – matches revealed!
• The party continues – mingle, dance and connect

FAQs:

Q: What if I don’t get a match?
A: We aim to maintain a 50/50 male to female ratio but cannot guarantee that all attendees will show up, as life happens. If there is an uneven split, some matches will be paired platonically. These people receive a free ticket to a future event of their choice, valid for 60 days after this event.

🎫 When the event sells out, there will be a small amount of tickets released at 8.00pm on the day of the event and entrance will be at the venues/hosts discretion.
