✨ A Celebration & The End of an Era ✨

Hey Singles,

I can’t believe I’m writing this, but this November marks one year of Thursday Gold Coast! 🎉

We’ve spent a year meeting under soft lights and summer skies, bringing strangers together who might never have crossed paths otherwise. It’s been laughter over cocktails, quiet meaningful moments, friendships that turned into something more and everything in between.

To celebrate, we are heading back to the very first venue we ever had an event at for a Singles Rooftop Party!

This thursday is also a little bittersweet because it will be my (Haley’s) final Thursday event. I’ve had the absolute time of my life this past year starting, shaping, and growing this community but it’s time for me to move on & this will be the last event that I organise.

On Thursday, November 27th, we’ll gather one last time at The Island Rooftop Bar to celebrate it all: the people, the stories, and the memories that made Thursday Gold Coast what it is.

There won’t be any organised icebreakers or games this time, just space to soak it all in. To look around at the familiar faces, the stunning rooftop views, the lights of Surfers flickering below, and feel that magic one more time.

While I’m sure Thursday Gold Coast will eventually find its feet again with a new host, this will be my final Thursday event: a closing chapter that feels both bittersweet and beautiful.

I’m endlessly grateful to have been the one to start it, and to have watched this little community grow into something so warm, genuine, and alive.

This night is for everyone who’s been a part of it, whether you came once, every single week, or have just been watching from the sidelines. And if you’ve been thinking about coming but were too scared, too busy, or too whatever-your-excuse-is, this is your sign. You have one final chance to join the fun.

Come for the memories, stay for the singles, and let’s make this final Thursday one to remember.
