It’s the perfect night for a unique 32-48 edition of our MYSTERY AI MATCHING SINGLES at the elegant and atmospheric Malja @maljahelsinki on Thursday 12 February from 19:00 ✨ our AI matching events have been one of our favourite concepts and we’re looking forward to having another epic night!
Many of you have been asking for more older age range events, so here we go with a Valentine’s week special! This time, each attendee will be matched with three fabulous singles!
We will have space for 150 singles at the spacious and newly renovated Malja cocktail bar & lounge, complete with a very unique set of experiences in addition to a nice view of the harbour at Hietelahti!

💡 HOW IT WORKS
Matching will be powered by Matchbox. It’s a
software that uses relationship science to find you your most compatible
match at the party. The algorithm has matched more than half a million
people to date, across 40 countries. It optimizes for long-term
compatibility, based on values—but it’s up to you to see if you’ll
click.
- Upon arrival, you’ll take a matching questionnaire built by Matchbox’s team of relationship scientists and curated by your host.
- The Matchbox algorithm will identify your optimal matches at the
party, based on relationship science, AI, and Nobel Prize-winning
economics. Matches will also take age into consideration. - After mingling with the whole group, a few clues are given before matches are revealed!
- Note: a small minority of matches will be ‘friends-matched’. We can’t guarantee a perfect ratio to show up on the night, so there is a small chance one of your matches will be a friend-match of the same sex.

- Exclusive bar access for Thursday guests, discounted drinks, plenty of other singles to meet, and the matching experience.

Event Structure:
- This event is highly intentional and the matching will proceed on schedule. Please be on time.
- 19:00—the event begins on time, bar opens
- 20:40—doors close, The Algorithm begins computing matches
- 20.50—a series of clues
- 21:00—first match revealed
- 21:15 – second match revealed
- 21:30 – third match revealed
- 21:50 – regular mingling continues (or keep talking to your match 😉)
- 22:00 – Karaoke lounge and dance floor is open
- 23:00 – event doors open to public if space allows, possible to stay until 1 am
FAQs:
Q: What age range is the event for? A: This event is for 32-48, give or take one or two years.
Q: What if I don’t get a match? A: We aim to
maintain a 50/50 male to female ratio but cannot guarantee that all
attendees will show up, as life happens. If there is an uneven split,
some people will get a friendly match for some rounds.
Q: What is the vibe at the event? A: Easy going, no pressure, everyone is open to meet new people!
Q: What is the dress code? A: Smart elegant.
