Get ready for our first-ever Matchmaking Night at Highlands Sports Bar & Grill in San Carlos on December 9th, 2025, bringing together 200 singles ages 25–35 for an intentional, exciting, and high-energy night of connection.

Highlands isn’t just a bar—it’s an experience. Known for its lively atmosphere, elevated comfort food, and spacious social layout, it’s the perfect backdrop for a night centered around genuine connection.
This year, Highlands is teaming up with the iconic Miracle Pop-Up, transforming the space into a festive, over-the-top holiday wonderland. Think immersive Christmas décor, twinkling lights, themed cocktails, and a playful, cozy vibe ideal for sparking conversation and meeting someone new.
The setting alone will make you feel like you stepped into a holiday movie—with 200 eligible singles as your co-stars.

Matching will be powered by Matchbox.

Matchbox uses relationship science to find your most compatible match at the party. The algorithm has matched more than half a million people across 40 countries. It optimizes for long-term compatibility based on values—but it’s up to you to see if you’ll click in person.

Q: What age range is the event for?

A: This event is curated for singles in their mid-twenties to mid-thirties.

What to expect:

The matching experience is highly intentional—come with an open mind.
If your match isn’t love at first sight, don’t stress! Matchbox focuses on long-term compatibility, so at the very least, you’ll be values-aligned.

And with the Miracle-themed atmosphere, festive cocktails, and 200 incredible singles in the room—you’re guaranteed a memorable night. Be curious, lean into the fun, and remember to be kind.

Q: What if I don’t get a match?

A: We aim for a 50/50 male-to-female ratio, but we can’t guarantee everyone will show—life happens. If there’s an uneven split, some participants will receive a platonic match for the evening. These individuals will also receive a free ticket to a future event of their choice, valid for 60 days after this event.

Event Structure:

This event is highly intentional and the matching will proceed on schedule. Please be on time.

✨6:30pm – For my early birds who want to settle in and enjoy the holiday themed bar before the energy picks up. You will also have extra time to fill out your Mistletoe Matchmaking quiz once you check-in.

🎄7:00pm – Event begins! You have 45mins to fill out the Mistletoe Matchmaking quiz. Quiz available via QR code day of event after checking in

✨7:45pm – Doors close, The Algorithm begins computing matches (If you arrive after this time you will miss out on matchmaking)

🎄8:00pm – A series of clues to find your mistletoe match

✨8:30pm – Mistletoe Matches revealed!

We are welcomed to stay in Highlands until around 10:30pm
